EK Water Blocks, premium water cooling gear provider, will soon release new Full-Board (FB) water block for ASUS flagship AMD AM3+ socket Crosshair V Formula-Z motherboard.
The upcoming EK-FB ASUS C5F-Z for ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z motherboard will be a single piece Full-Board water block which will directly cool AMD 990FX northbridge and the power regulation (VRM / MOSFETs) module. Due to the budget nature of this water block the AMD SB950 southbridge will remain cooled using ASUS factory provided heatsink . This water cooling solution will require two G1/4 threaded fittings and will sport a high flow design therefore posing a minimal flow restriction to the water cooling circuit.
Furthermore this new water block will be compatible with the original version of ASUS Crosshair V Formula motherboard and will as such replace the existing EK-FB ASUS Crosshair V lineup.
Expected release date is 10th of December with MSRP around 70€ incl. VAT.
