By no means am I saying Seagate is a bad brand, But my experience with them has done nothing but make me not ever want to use one to store important data ever again.

That's nice, I've got 11 Seagates, all over 2 years old and they all run fine. I've had two WD Blue drives die within 6 months of being bought just this year, and one of the returned drives from WD was DOA.
But no one cares about anecdotal evidence.
