Antec H2O 920 powah!

I just have to brag a bit. Today i've received brand new ANTEC Kuhler H2O 920. Have been buying closed loop H2O cooling for a while but never bothered to check Antec, because it has tubes much longer than the rest of vendors. Having big problems fitting really massive air coolers inside my tiny case, but watercooling solved that.

ANTEC 920 assembled on the mobo. Added 2 tiny NB fans to cool the chipset and VRM. A bit ghetto style with zip ties but they always solve all the problems. Almost like Macgyver tape

Almost assembled box...

Still have some reserve for longer graphic card...

Box fully assembled

As it turns out, ANTEC 920 doesn't like the fans that i used (Noiseblocker Multiframe), it was unable to control the fan speed through software. So i had to connect the fans to a Lian Li's case fan controller. I have it on lowest anyway so it's really silent now.

Only downside was that those screws for the fans on the radiator are damn short. So i had to remove the dust filter and i barely mounted the rubber caps so the radiator is now attached tot he front case wall. I'll have to clean it more often now but i guess airflow will be better and less noise will be generated because of low restriction intake...

Anyway, these closed loop watercooling systems are totally awesome stuff. Much more flexible than just massive tower heatpipe coolers that can only be fitted on top of CPU socket and nowhere else. I don't think i'll ever go back to air cooling now that i've tried this...
