That $1,400 is more than I paid for my Asus G75 and thats with a 17" 1080p display, i7-3610QM, and a gtx 660m. At some point people are going to realize all they are paying for with Apple is a brand. Not to mention why would I want a retina display on a laptop? Apple needs to quit pushing their over-hyped displays into all of their products especially a 13" laptop
