It depends on how it's implemented. I agree though that it is easier if you keep the same name for the same level of compatibility. The backwards compatibility on various AMD rigs is nice for us "not so inept computer users" though.

he is talking about an Intel CPU, my reply therefore was aimed at that manufacturer.
