Thats some BS...
The way I see it you pay for the phone its your property do with it as you please. Apples agreement was to build the phone only for ATT, that doesn't mean ATT owns your phone.
Therefore I can't really see this as against any law...
Issue being obviously thanks to this GREAT country of ours, the bullshit endless court system, ATT has more than enough money to put this company out of business by keeping them in court for years to come, and even if it doesn't put them out of business it will stop the release until something new is out again.
