System Specs

A great review on a product that doesnt get the attention it should. Its a wonderful product, I only wish a lower price tag. 19" LCDs pushing 1280x1024 are not far off from hitting $150, making this a very nice set up for someone with a lot of ground to cover. The gaming aspect is huge for flight sim fans, people are drooling over this and are just slightly put off by the nearly $300 price tag, the price of 3 decent (used) LCD monitors to run it. Its not a simple design and their support for it (especially for gaming) is incredible. Its also worth noting that a set up like this (3840x1024) is actually not that far off from what the high end of the single monitor spectrum (2560x1600) requires, a single high end/premium card will do the job, but multi card is definitely something that'll get its moneys worth out of this kinda work load.

$600 for 3840x1024 is not bad to pay, considering 24" 1920x1200 are only now dropping under $500, and the 30" panels pushing 2560x1600 wont see a sub $1000 price tag for a good while. Flight sims, MMO/RPG, and RTS games run insanely well on this type of set up paired with a decent rig, and the sheer amount of space you get to play with is something that must be seen first hand, even screen shots dont do it justice

On a related note, any chance a review sample will be in the for sale section anytime soon
