You guys have to remember amd is only a year younger than intel and has been around for a very long time (in technology terms anyway). I really cant see them going away anytime soon. Have to remember intel was dominating the market for the better part of almost 4 decades.
On a side note i cant wait until i can get some 32nm 8 core
