I thought ATi labelled the drivers depending on the month they're released, for example, the 7.10's will be out in October and last months, the 7.9's were out in September, the 9th month.
As for the Vista beta, don't think it's been leaked as of yet.

I think it'll just be bug fixes and better compatibility with the new CCC software. Something like that. Either way, these drivers work and I look forward to the final release.

The 7.7 worked flawlessly for me in ET: QW. The disappointment is with the game itself, can't stand the weapons, the fact they've tried to cram as much crap into the engineer class as possible. Most of all I dislike the gameplay, trying to accomplish things is difficult due to the way they've set the controls up. Playing it offline or online makes little difference to my enjoyment. Was looking forward to it, but it turns out I don't like it.
