The release notes say that the driver
added support for the 9800, 9600, 8300, 8200, 8100...
English isn't my native language but wouldn't 'added' mean that support for the other cards (ex 8800 series) had already been there?
I've seen people on the xtreme-g forums use the 174.xx drivers on 8800GT.
