u are reading things back to front.. time to wake up and stop believing all this crap about u read posted by folks who dont know one end of a PC from the other.. most/all modern games are gpu limitted.. fear.. quake 4.. doom 3.. seriouse sam.. oblivion.. u name it.. if they have frame rate problems its bugger all to do with the cpu speed..
how the hell can anyone get to believe an amd 3700 at 2.9 is not good enough to play games is way way beyond me.. jeesh.. wake up dude..
send your card back by all means.. just wise up to the cpu factor..
trog
ps.. u wanna see something that is cpu/system limitted.. try running 3Dmark 2001.. my current grfx card scores pretty much the same as my x850 did.. 31000.. now thats cpu limitted.. but we are talking up to 600 frames per second.. not 40..
basically dude u have the fastest single card gaming system money can buy.. if it dont go fast enough.. the problem is u not your system..

Where did that little rant come from? Your very respected on these forums, but you will quickly loose that respect, and possibly get banned if posts like this continue. I'm happy to overlook this for now, and put it down to you perhaps having a bad day as we all do from time to time, but please keep your emotions in check from now on. Don't get me wrong, your help on the forums is much appreciated by everyone here.
