I was going to pull out the X-Fi and some ram and give it a go. I hadn't thought of a different hdd utility though. Thank goodness this Vista x64 was free from MS. I would be flipping out if I had spent near $300 on the software and got this treatment.

Cooling:	CPU stock, AC 80's/case.
Memory:	8G Kingston HyperX T1 DDR2 1066.
Video Card:	Sapphire 2G 7850.
Hard Disk:	WD 500G sata 3.0 blue.
Optical Drive:	ASUS DVD burner.
CRT/LCD Model:	Sony 19" lcd, digital.
Case:	Blue Chenming 301KB.
Sound Card:	X-Fi Fatal1ty Xtreme Gamer, Logitech 2.1's.
PSU:	PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610.
Software:	Windows 7 x64 Ultimate.
