not mentioned in the OP, a few other changes between the PSP 3000 and its older counterparts is that it has a redesigned circuitry (making it cheaper to produce) and it has more improved hacking countermeasuers to prevent owners from customisation and piracy.
bit of a shame really, i wanted to see the next gen psp come out with wireless n, maybe actual internal storage, plus more processing and ram grunt, i care more about weather or not it can seamlessly decode divx moreso then how improved the contrast ratio is ect ect.
