Yes. NB cooling is gimmicky, though the CPU VRM area needs it. Nehalem chips are hungry. SB needs it asusual, but on close inspection of the P6T, you'll notice the heatsink over NB isn't an elaborate affair like maybe Maximus Extreme, etc. However, don't fall for "X58 chipset cooling with ZOMG water blocks" the NB isn't the memory controller anymore, you won't be touching its voltage controls.
