8.10 hot fix driver question(S)

I've had the 'hot fix' 8.10 driver for a week now. I downloaded the driver stand alone, and treated it as just that. I cleaned out the old one and put this one on.

Though I've been wondering since it's a 'hot fix,' if I'm supposed to do something else as well?

It's been working what seems ok in Vista, but when I swapped my 8.10 Beta for 8.10 hotfix in XP, I had several noticeable IQ and performance issues in multiple 3d applications.

Maybe if:
You didn't call your parents fags
You didn't call yourself "hacker" on the internet
You learned to spell "awesome" and "assassin"
they might think you are mature enough to get the game. -Davidelmo

The Hotfix drivers are the standard release driver with a quick fix for something particular while we wait for the new release.
