Corsair is sadly enough the only PSU that died on me, but i know there will always be a few faulty units of any brand, personally i have several zalman psus and not a single one gave me issues and are still very silent.

Gotta love the stability and silence of a Corsair. My only grudge is the price, but you get what you pay for I suppose.

Actually, their prices have become more reasonable, especially with the release of the TX series. Good for Corsair.

I always recommend Corsair PSUs to my friends (even people I dont like :P) specifically the TX series. I know one person that received a DOA TX750w. I assured him it was a fluke and he should replace it with the same unit and everything was perfect with the second one.

If it was a woman, I'd happily make love to my HX520. A 500W PSU that outputs peak 600W? and can handle my specs with a quad overclocked?

You just cant beat them IMO. If i go for the 4850X2 ill look into that HX1000 too - overkill i know but future proofing hurts no one

I learned what quality is when I purchased my Corsair 750W. I had a Nspire 750 that couldn't even handle my 6000+ AM2 and 2x 3870's. Now my Corsair is working with a 9850 B.E @ 2.8Ghz and 2x 3870X2's. It's got some balls!

but as many other big names they don't build the PSU themselves. The HX and VX series are build by Seasonic and are basically the S12 and M12 with minor differences. Seasonic is awesome, so nothing bad about that

Some of the HX and VX (500W+) as well as the TX series are manufactured by Channel Well (CWT).

The HX and VX series are build by Seasonic and are basically the S12 and M12 with minor differences. Seasonic is awesome, so nothing bad about that Some of the HX and VX (500W+) as well as the TX series are manufactured by Channel Well (CWT). __________________ As you may presently yourself be fully made aware of, my grammar sucks.
