F.E.A.R. 2 Blocked in Australia

Sucks to be you guys as gamers. My heart goes out to ya.

The Australian Classification Review Board has refused to classify Monolith's spooky shooter sequel F.E.A.R. 2, a move that effectively blocks the uncensored game from sale within the continent.
It was not publicly stated why the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 shooter was refused, but it is likely to continue in the tradition of other once-blocked games--Fallout 3, Silent Hill: Homecoming--with a censored version that resolves the board's complaints.

Man, that is a real bummer!!! I guess all of the AU citizens will have to have someone in another part of the world purchase it, and ship it to them! Of course the shipping then becomes an issue

That does suck but I'm sure it won't be difficult for Australians to acquire it if they want.

Why does this not suprise me.

We here in oz need an r18+ rating for games but while we have Michael Atkinson as are Attorney General were doomed not to have it.

Check out this interview with Michael on Goodgame this guy is unreal

scroll down to the great r18 debate in the streaming vids at the top. http://www.abc.net.au/tv/goodgame/video/

Not to turn this to political but the government would have less control if y'all wouldn't have scrapped your gun rights IMO.

we still have the right to have guns, only if there is a reason though. eg. vermin control on a farm............. i wonder if The Australian Classification Review Board counts as vermin
