Farcry 2

Just brought farcry 2 and frankly it sucks. im stuck in story mode. and its like W.O.W but worse!!! i just complete things then head over to the next thing and after blowing up or killing targets its back to the map again. JUST how long does this go on for? when does the real action start!! its flipping BOREING!!!!!! forget online playing my BB sucks to higher ping to name a few. things that make it bad..

Save your money mate, download it for free then decide. It's boring as fuck and playing it is a chore instead of a pleasure. Real shame that they wasted so much potential; awesome graphics and smooth framerates, but boring and repetitive gameplay.

I got Far Cry 2 for free due to coupons (I ordered my EVGA GTX 260 CORE 216 a few days before they announced the Far Cry 2 bundle). It is the most boring FPS I've ever played. I'll probably sell it.

Huge disappointment following the original, which like Crysis (a more appropriate sequel) actually had a story.

It's ok. I was expecting awesomeness but single player gets boring quick and I hate when you clear a road block and you come back to it, the enemies re spawn again.

I liked the game, granted I never got too far in the SP campaign, I chip away at it here and there...I like the ability to attack from where-ever and whenever I want, carrying what I want to get the job done. Sure there are a few quirks that are annoying, and I do feel the ball was dropped on this game, it's definately enjoyable imo.

I also like the multiplayer, and now after patch 1.02 things actually seem to have improved a little bit, a few little quirks here and there make ranked and unranked matches more fun to play...and the map editor that comes with FC2 is just kickass...the maps are very fast downloads for your friends which is a plus instead of waiting for a 30-60MB+ CoD4 map, you download a 3-4MB map...mostly due to the limitations not adding custom textures, objects, etc. But online is fun none-the-less and the action can get hectic, there are a few quirks here too though...sometimes you'll unload on somoene, they won't even notice on their end...turn around and kill you. In the end it comes down to who you play with too...my clan picked up this game, and we've all had a great time with it...too bad there's no coop for the SP part of the game...that could make things more interesting imo. Alas I'm not much of a Crysis fan...won't get into that here, but even with all the dissapointments, if you have a few buddies that play this game, it's still a true blast to play!

I remember when farcry came out, and I played if for the first time. I nearly took a shi* when bloody bullet markings remained after I shot pigs

J man your not wrong there dam respawns are a pain in the arse.. what bugs the crap outa me is that when you do a mission and you do it. you have to go back to the other side of the map and back again and so on and so on and so on. jeeese wiz just who did they pay to make that game on SP anyway? the 1st farcry was good as a 3some with 3 hot babes and a box of chocky paint and edible undies... but now i feel like i was let down.... see how fallout 3 plays. better not be like wow or i'll scream like a little girl who's lost her dolly!!! i swear it!

I just hate how repetitive is it. And the respawns... ARGH! I have nothing else to play right now since I have beaten GOW2 twice, so since I bought FC2 ii feel like I should just beat it. I finally got to what I think is the midway point, after shit goes haywire. Hopefully the game steps up from there.

But honestly, the beginning is just so boring...

im still stuck in the part getting my rep up. so dam boreing its a like the whole thing was rushed just to feed the comsumers demands, and not really thinking about how the game should be played, not just get it out there and to hell with it.. i'll get unreal 3 before fallout 3 first thoe as i love unreal heaps better action

The ending was the BIGGEST let down ever, rivaling that of any game I've ever played. Then once you beat it you don't get to keep you weapons and have to start all over again. Was hoping I could go wreak some havoc with the 50cal and flame thrower after beating it but NOOOOO.

Dled it. Tested it. It does look tasty with DX10 and all details maxed, and the flamethrower is just uber. But I just fried some stuff, then quit the game, wasn't too motivated... but I certainly won't buy it now that I tested it. I think I'll get Crysis since its budget now.

I got to the second part, and they give you a mission and they give you a mortar launcher... and I thought "SWEET LETS BLOW S*** UP!"

Worst let down EVER. WHen the mortar landed... what did I get... some smoke. No Explosion, nobody even dead! GRRRRRR... Ended up just throwing a ton of grenades. Friggen lame.

I play multiplayer a lot. I have only finished 10% the SP game, which is boring.

Multiplayer is a lot of fun. There are a few bugs that to me are almost unacceptable. No Friends List. If it wasnt for Messenger and TeamSpeak it would be next to impossible to play a game with a friend. Once you finish a match it usually kicks you out to the main menu, rather then just going straight into the game lobby, or if the server continues back into the same server.

Hopefully patch .03 fixes some of those.

If it wasn't for multiplayer this would either be sold or sitting on a shelf collecting dust.

In my opinion, Far Cry 2 was the worst over hyped game all year. It didn't deliver at all for me. I wasted $56 on this game and really want my money back. I hate the game. What really takes the cake for me is getting a free copy of it when I bought my XFX GTX260 BE. Out of all the free games to get with a card, I get the one I already bought AND hate the most. Dammit.
