Offical TPU WOW server

Welcome to the offical TPU World of Warcraft Private server thread. Basically A WOW private server is a server that i made and host on my computer and that anyone can join. Unlike the regular world of warcraft servers there is no monthly fee making it so the game is completely free to play. Probably sounds too good to be true right! Well i plan on releasing the server to TPU over the Winter break and then too the public soon after that.

THE SERVER WILL NOT BE UP AND RUNNING UNTIL TOMORROW OR THE NEXT FEW DAYS. I WILL TRY TO PM EVERYONE WHEN IT IS UP! SORRY FOR THE INCONVIENCE.

Updates:
1. Beta server is up and running and already have some testers. Full release will be released soon. Hopefully in the next few days!!

Current Status:
Non-operational(Beta is finished and i need a tester with just regular wow or TBC)
Current Moderators and Admins:

1.ShadowFold= Admin
2. Gilletter= Mod
If you want you can apply to be an admin just PM me(Sorry no more admins or moderators are being accepted).

Tutorial for getting onto the server:
1. Pm what you want your username and PW to be(will later make it so u can register online.)
Format it like this:
Username:
Password:
Regular wow or TBC:
2. Download the Realmlist.wtf and place it in your WOW directory.(download at http://rapidshare.com/files/17594831...mlist.wtf.html)
3. Update to latest version(3.0.3)
4. Log in and select TPU WOW realm.(As of now it is normal play, later I will be adding a PVP realm)

If you dont have World of Warcraft, no worries you can get it off their site for free. I have included the online installer in the post.

Yes as long as i do not use the vmaps, which i am not going to use. Would u like to be a tester?

hit it on the head... if you're making money off of it, they don't like it. If you're not making a dime, they don't care (well might care but no legal action can be taken )

Um actually i am starting the whole server from scratch so i will try and get in the lich king. But if i cant i will work on it to try and get it in later.
