need a little help
k maybe i lied i need a lot of help. ive recently decided to upgrade my comp which doesnt mean much cause what i hav is pretty pathetic. anyway. i got my new case today and me not wanting to wait decided to put all my old crap, that i will be replacing at the end of the month with better stuff anyway, in the new case so i took it all out of my old case then put all of it in the new case and i dont know what ive done the only thing i can think ive done is stactically charged somthing. but firstly i cant turn it on by the button at the front. secondly it starts up as soon as it gets power (as soon as i turn on the powerpoint) thirdly wen it starts up everything starts up then it beeps really loudly like three times then it sits there running with nothing happening. as long as i havnt screwed up the harddrive or the dvd drive it isnt a major problem. cause as i said im buying new stuff at the end of the month. this is my first build and im pretty much self taught. i have taken my computer apart many times and put it back together. but im still fairly new to computer building. please help needed

The beeps are bios beep codes. You need the name and model of your motherboard, find out what bios is on it, then look up the beep codes and definitions.

Does anything happen at all when you press the power button?
If not i would look towards the button or where the button header plugs into the board.

not a thing
nothing happens wen i press the button. i dont know y but it worked one more time bu i wanted to see if it wuld keep on working and wen i went to turn it bak on it did nothin again. so if it works once every blue moon that means i wuld have it plugged in the right place right? cause im fairly certain everything is plugged in alright.
