Geforce 5950 ultras had some crazy coolers [pic]
Did any ATI cards of that time have crazy coolers?

with ATI at the time, they didnt need Crazy Coolers. Most Popular Cooler was the AC VGA Silencer 3

I have a BFG 5900 128 and it has a crazy cooler like that too. It worked damn good in the day though, mine never went over 50*c.

If you could OC them good enough and there stable they can beat a 9600GT, in performance.

You cant. Believe me. I maxed out the OC on my 5900 and I only scored 2K in 3dmark05 and could barely run Doom3 above 30FPS. Get a 9800 pro and you will be happier.

lol, thats a good point he probably meant ATI's, and I guess that would be true. Because at that time 9800's owned the market and even Nvidias top card would have probably been a better match for the mid range ATI cards.
