Still at earliest a month and a half till it releases, I wouldn't worry. Plus you could pick up a 216sp version later anyways

God damn it. We need a GTX 295 cooler! And preferably one that is only dual-slot because we also have Quad-SLi..
Yes, I realize that the chances they'll make an air-type cooler for it are around the same of me finding a full-fledged DIY water-cooling system under my bed. |

Considering he sold it on eBay after getting wind of this "issue" instead of opting for an after-market cooler, I'd say he saw that it was getting over 70C and thought it was about to catch on fire. No offense, but it took me a while to understand that for my G92, 75C was "normal."

Please consider your reply in future before you post, at time of putting it on ebay there were no aftermarket options available, and still wont be for a month or so. |

Thats a nice cooler,is it heavy?
I have to say though, that the full cover waterblock on my 4850 is doing a grand job.

I hope that this will weigh less then the Thermalright HR-03 cooler they have out now... I'm glad they are finally coming out with coolers..
As for the GTX295, They'll probably just come out with the waterblock. You'll probably be able to build your own like the 9800gx2

I have the old version on my 8800 Ultra.
It is the best air cooler for a video card EVER. Took stock 90c down to 55c and it is quiet too. Hmmm might be a good time to get a GTX280.

They've added new pictures and also a picture of the included heatsinks ![]() I like the memsinks and the NVIO+2xmem sink, but that VRM sink seems underpowered. And if possible I'll be keeping my backplate, looks better than AC one. If not possible I'll be painting it black
