Well they have (or had) GTX 280 for £218.49 inc VAT. Offer started yesterday, I just ordered a moment ago, don't know if there are any left :/

Hope I don't get a Zotac one, as I already have GRID. Not that it matters what comes, but BFG would be nice, as they are more expensive with stock OCs

I wouldn't trust what the staff there say. Hundreds seem very unlikely and somewhat ridiculous.

I wouldnt go for the 280 personally anyways as that would be a backward step to what i have now, damn nice price for a 280 though nevertheless, I want either a decently priced 4870x2 or GTX295 but I am patient, I can wait.

Yes, it seems very high, 100 could be more likely. However there where many peeps just on the offer thread that bought them, one bought 3 (and now has 3x Far Cry 2)

Yep, 4850x2 beats GTX 280 in most stuff. Would think that there will be an offer for 4870x2 somewhere, so that NVIDIA doesn't steal all the thunder. Posted the offer as more general, not a direct alternative to you. Didn't want to make a new thread as it is Saturday and didn't know if the stock amount updated then. Seems it does, now shows 6.

Oh and Tatty_One, keep an eye on scan.co.uk daily offers, there seems to be quite nice discounts on NVIDIA or ATI cards every other day or so. £408.19 cheapest 295 now, play.com still wins.

I have to wait for Monday to see if my 'nice price 280' gets posted and then to Wednesday to find out what make I got. 2 day delivery from England to Finland seems a little too fast, can't even get most stuff from Finland to Finland in that time
