Tried Safari 4 = not happy.

I decided to try the new Safari 4 so called "The Fastest Browser on the Planet". And I was not happy. First of all the Tab Bar is now on top and is making me confused. Also it takes up the whole bar no matter how many tabs are open so i can't double click to get a new tab. Secondly Apple fucked up Safari 4 for windows. You can't do any terminal tasks.

I love Safari 4, it clearly is the fastest browser out there. The benches prove it, my rig proves it, and various friends also prove it as well.

Where Safari 4 is lacking right now, is features, at least in comparison to FF. FF can add many different 3rd party apps to it's browser.

Also remember, Safari 4 is a beta RC, it is not a final product. If you have moans and groans about it, I suggest you take it to the bug button, or go on Apple's official (which are very large and have a large community) and suggest what you think should be added.

**Companies are beginning to release beta browser clients just to show market share in the browser world.

I couldn't get on tpu Therefore the most shit browser ever I want to like it because safari is my favourite browser but its still beta so we can't judge. I reported tons of bugs though, They shouldn't have released it.

Weird, I'm talking to you on TPU right now, via the Safari 4 beta browser.

Additionally, I reported bugs with the TPU site, such as the search button, the Java was messed up. Apple fixed it today, for this particular site.

I used about 4 different browsers today Everytime I went on tpu it would crash or wouldn't display properly. Anandtech worked fabulously though and was incredibly quick.

yea it doesn't have many features as firefox and also i'm used to use 3rd click for closing tabs which is seems not working with safari 4 and when so many tabs opened they just got hidden and you to right click the last one to get the list of tabs not good .... i just uninstall it and return for firefox.
