mouse and keyboard problems

for some reason all the sudden tonight my mouse and keyboard are turning off and on and the windows is making the sound like it would if you unplugged the keyboard and mouse from the usb and plug it back in it shuts up ill hit the mouse button a couple times itll make a sound and come back on, any exsplanations its doing this while i play games and everything else. hmmm?

You tried putting them in diffrent USB Ports. Make sure theres no dirt stuck in them.

is it wireless? coz if it is check the charge level is ur mouse, keyboard mine does that when the batteries need charging

make sure that they're clean and check the connections..

My old pc had usb failure like it was a necessity for something. After a while, it was just 2 ports on the motherboard that worked. Unplug anything thats in usb that you don't need all the time. Could help. Try other ports if you havent.

thanks guys, i think there was some dirt on the usb connections, i cleaned them off its been working fine now for awhile, lets just hope it keeps up.
