Please D007, forgive us we are not perfect. It's unfortunate I didn't recieve a PM from you about the grief you are getting here at TPU which is also unfortunate. I did notice that a moderator came into the thread you are talking about and gave verbal warnings to all involved. The next post was by yourself saying "moving on". Generally, "moving on" means what's in the past is in the past and you are well.. moving on. If there are members bothering you and you feel some sort of justice needs to be served, by all means PM me because afterall that's partially why there are moderators here.

Ideally you would not sink to the level of the person that insulted you. The only thing that accomplishes is to make the fourms look trashy, take a thread further off topic, and in extreme cases force the closure of a thread because people cannot get their minds off a fight. That is why we discourage vigilantism. You do not need to understand why we do not allow members to "fight back" even though it is a fairly simple idea. All you need to know is that it is generally discouraged and that you should use the report post button and let the staff take care of it.

I made a direct email to wizzard about it and he ignored me and brushed off my complaint as if it meant nothing..
he all but scoffed at me in his reply..

the topic was about gas..
someone said for everyone to not buy gas one one day.
hell if i know where it is anymore..lol..
but it's not like i ignored it..
i complained about it..
and nothing was done..

and again what your all trying to do is invalidate my complaint as if it means nothing..

The only complaint I am brushing off is the one about things that happened two years ago. I already apologized for your original complaint and fixed the problem even though you made your complaint in a very rude manner call us hypocrites, among other things, just because one moderator two years ago did something you did not like. I am not going to go combing through 4000 of wazzledoozle's posts just to make you happy, I am sorry, but I do not have the time or inclination to do that. Once again all I can do is apologize for what wazzledoozle might have said two years ago, but that is the end of it. If you do not wish to frequent these forums because of your one infraction for insulting members, and wazzledooze saying something nasty once then that is your prerogative, there is nothing I can do for you. It is not to be mean and nasty although I am sure that is what you will assume, there is just nothing I can physically do for you whether you believe it or not.

i recall reading over the thread mentioned earlier. Once all parties agree to "move on" at a moderators request, why is it neccesary to delete posts? as far as it seemed to me, the problem had been solved.

Infractions and warnings expire here - as far as most of us moderators are concerned, once an infraction has expired we forget about it, with the exception of repeat offenders.

Ok, I don't give a crap about who started what. All i had to read was the first paragraph (if you can call it that) of your reply. Yes please as erocker said. It is easy to complain about how horrible we are, but I am not hearing many ideas on what you want us to do. That may be too hard and not as much fun I suppose. So either offer an idea of what to do, because I do not have any, or leave us alone until next time. Those are your only two alternatives. I said that because i dont want to see things escalating to where infractions are handed out and ppl end up banned. Especially as in most cases situation can be sorted by pm instead of putting it up for all to see here. The mods deleted post in the thread you posted so i dont see the problem.
