paypal fail?

so after being in the internet sales business for about 3 years now (ebay, forums, craigslist, etc) all while using paypal as my main way of income...i find that the income from my paypal is not going into my bank account! how did i not notice that before? mainly because when i make money with my paypal i would just buy something online using the same paypal...and never really used money i got from an online transaction in RL with my credit card. anyone else have this problem? it says that i need to "link and confirm my credit or debt card" and wants a 4 digit code from my "bank statement" any idea's?

It's not a problem, that's the way it works.

Agreed, I had to do that to get my transactions to go into my bank account as well.

I didn't have to enter a 4 digit number, just my bank acount information, and I did the thing where they deposit 2 small amounts in my account(under $0.50) and then tell them what the amounts were.

But yes, you have to link it to your credit/debit card for certain things.

This. PayPal accounts are always separate from your bank accounts. What you can do is get a PayPal debit card so you can pay directly with the profit you've got in your PayPal account.

If you dont have a bank account linked to paypal you can just request a check for 1.50, or like he said get a Paypal debit/credit card and use that.

PP = Epic Fail. There are other online payment sites that are far more secure than PP - and don't offer shady business practice like PP.

I agree completely. I'm not sure why the dinosaur is still around. I guess it is a comfort zone thing. Of course the shameless promotion and partnering by major web sales outlets never has hurt them any. At some point people will figure out that paypal is to internet commerce what check cashing businesses are to the real banking world.

Don't you have to have a certain amount in your PayPal account before you can withdraw from your bank? It's like $100 or something right?

My only problem is PayPal charging you so any time I sell something on eBay I end up with big ass fucking fees and little to nothing profit cos both services cost.

Paypal has never been a problem for me. It is just a service, use it if you like it. Every other service does either the same thing, or less, never more. Paypal has probably saved me days of work. The only problem ive heard, not seen, are issues getting money back from fraud, etc. but fraud protection isnt paypal's fault, its your stupid ass fault for trusting an online transaction, paypal is just lending a hand.

Yea real clever, you come up with a retarded statement then don't expect people to (and rightly so) correct your ignorant viewpoint.

Im sorry but paypal has been great to me, i've had a guy rip me off with a 680i, he sent me KNOWLY a defunk 680i, when i asked for a refund he said he have UPS pick it up and then give me a refund, well he never did called me a bunch of names told me im stupid with hardware etc etc, then turned around and sold that same 680i motherboard to SystemViper. Well i contacted paypal credit-card(which i bought it with) and they refunded me the full amount.

I've used paypal countless times with many transactions i've never had serious problems. They even gave me my own paypal hotline

Guess you cant win them all.

Actually, your the only one getting your thong in a bunch. Even now your spouting drivel and can't back up a single word why PP are so great. Whereas I, and many others, can give you links and bad experiences (both our own and others found easily on google) which would stretch from good ol planet earth to the end of the solar system
