I just bought BF BC for cheap the other day and I can't wait to play it. I saw the trailer, and it doesn't show us, well anything, but that the point of a teaser trailer.
Those screenies look really nice though. Definitely excited about this one.

Should be cool. I just hope it's not a complete lag/stutter fest like 2142 is.
If only EA could have made 2142 run like COD4 the game would have been a huge success. I know people hate 2142 because EA tried to phase out BF2 but 2142 was actually a really cool game. No online shooter I've played can touch the vast game play mechanics that 2142 has. Titan mode is epic, anyone who disagrees obviously didnt give it a real chance. |

Granted 2142 added some aspects that BF2 didn't have like the APC with pods but it removed destructible bridges and the jets/chopper/hover crafts were lame. Also the environments were very static in setting IMO. The funny thing was a lot of people told this to DICE during BETA but I guess players dont know what fun is compared to them. ![]() Just to further my "argument" here was the original BETA teams site. It was invite only. Link Last edited by TheMailMan78; Mar 31, 2009 at 05:05 PM. |

I would love to play 2142 again, if I could get the damn game to work in vista. I can't get past the White screen issue.. =(
Bad Company is awesome tho, Definitely looking forward to this second one. Prop's for the look on this.

Yup I still play this game. One of the best multiplayer games created ever. Full of Fun and blasts. I am one of the notorious C4/Car bombers and people hate me ![]() I don't care about jets as long as there is some type of fast moving car or FAV type vehicle for loading up C4 and blow up those tanks and skinny asses inside ![]() And I love to sneak up behind a sniper and place a C4 and blow him off.

Well all I can say is protect your nuts my friend
![]() I liked 2142 for how long I played it. Once the expansion pack came out I stopped playing because so many people left the regular servers for the expansion servers. Titan mode was awsome. I love games where you can be on a huge ship and defend it with it's own guns. That made it really cool!

Yep, I played it online right when it came out, and I don't remember any maps with jets. Maybe it was the fact that everything scales to map size and seemed no games were that big. Or maybe they added in those maps later, either way I couldnt take the scaling maps, I liked the AC130 flying that right into the enemys base and wreaking havok as your team spawns out of it.
Or the mini choppers and chasing down dune buggys. I HATE scaling maps, so I just couldn't take BF2.

Yeah must have been that I was never in a 32 player game, I don't remember many servers that had that large of a capacity.

Yeah, I love huge maps. I don't think I ever seen a 60+ server. But like I said I played online only for like the first few weeks after it released, hated the scaling maps and quit. Didn't really play any online shooters after that till COD4, which was good. Then my friends convinced me to buy BF BC and I can't stop playing that. Sometimes I have that day where I will lay it like it's an MMO.
