Hmm.. I'm confused again... By one hand, ECS had a lot of experience in building mainboard's but in other hand, this mobo look's just litlte too cheap, to be quite good for i7... Only 5-phases?! That even dont give stable power to cpu when overclock! 5-phase is good for AMD (which my K9A2-CF has only 4-phase and stable work with cpu runnig with TDP@120W) when noob's want to overclock Phenom's...
It has to be tested...

it has 6 phases but only 5 are cooled. also the msi x58 pro and platinum has 5 phases and oc very well. and the msi eclipse and dfi dk x58 have 6 like this and oc like hell. IMO the only bad point of this mobo is that is ECS and has one phase that isnt cooler, otherwise, if the price is right it would be a pretty decent motherboard

Dunno why everyone is bashing ECS, maybe because it isn't available here I don't know. Anyways, looks like a P55 killer to me. I'd rather take one of these than one of them. Price difference can't be much?

Good colors, nice PCI-E spacing and nice layout. Only thing better would be black 24+8pins and that one molex.

People diss ECS because they are known for their very cheasy/shitty value boards that are usualy given away as combo deals at Frys. (An electronic store that sells all kinds of things)

As was said though, their enthusiast stuff isnt that bad.

I like how people judge ECS by their budget board. I can see the comparison but you cant really say anything unless youve worked on one of their better boards.

ECS would have to do a total memory wipe on me to make me buy any of their boards.
