New Dual DDC pump top?

I currently run two Laing DDC3.2 pumps with the XSPC top in series connected via tubing.
I came across this when looking for new parts:

It would certainly be more convenient for me, because the tubing forces me to place the pumps farther away than I would like.
But my question is, Would I see a increase or decrease in flow using this dual-ddc top vs two XSPC ones in series?
If the numbers are negligible, then it doesn't matter, but I havent found any reviews of this part yet so I am curious.

probably a decrease in flow between the two setups but I believe it will be negligable.... what blocks are in this loop of yours?

that top looks silly. The reason for the aftermarket tops is to eliminate the sharp 90deg bend on the intake but that top has the restriction built in.

And acrylic is a poor material for watercooling loops (lol, even if its poured)

thats not particularly restrictive, I think the watercool top would be not that much different from your current top setup and it would certainly make life much easier :yepp:

Not sure how I missed this topic but...

I'd check the inside of the top carefully before mounting the pumps. The Alphacool tops are still made for the older DDC-1 and DDC-2 and have a small lip inside that needs to be removed for use with the DDC-3.x pumps, otherwise the impeller rubs on it or won't spin at all depending on how tight the machining was done. This top was also made when those older pumps were still on the market, so it may have the same problem. It's nothing a Dremel and a steady hand can't fix.

If it's small enough, it should work OK. I used a 3mm solid carbide end mill I have left over from my machinist days that worked absolutely great on my Alphacool top. I'd imagine the high speed ball end burr Dremel includes in most kits would work great as well.
