go for $18, I wanted to bid but was afraid to try it. I was hoping someone had tried it before and it worked for them.

Same here MK. But I figure, you bid 3 times, you are already up to $1.50 plus the price of the item, which may go up. And for me, gambling is hard for me. But it is legit.

If its too good to be true, it is... check the contact info... no phone number, no address, etc ... just a PO box. and the "we are moving" is crap... I would not trust it....

its much more worth it to spend an extra $50 on something you want... then to be ripped off for $100 or 200, etc ...

Its so easy these days to be scammed online... and cusomers are not educated enough on this. Its a shame... really

For those who are wondering how this well placed scam works, here's an example:

"* You purchase bids in pre-packaged blocks of at least 30. Each bid costs you 75 cents, with no volume discount.
* Each bid raises the purchase price by 15 cents and increases the auction time by 15 seconds.
* Once the auction ends, you pay the final price.

I just watched an 8GB Apple iPod Touch sell on swoopo for $187.65. The final price means a total of 1,251 bids were placed for this item, costing bidders a grand total of $938.25.

So that $229 item ultimately sold for $1,125.90. "

Uhh...Morrison they aren't a scam company...at all. I've won stuff off of them. That report is how their auctions work. It's not like a typical auction where you place a monetary bid. Instead you purchase a number of bids and drive the price up. Please read and do more research before you go bashing a company, thanks. I wouldn't call this a scam, but rather a damn good business.

Try doing a little research yourself... That was just one page of information... I'd love to see some kind of proof that you actually won something from them?!?

So basically you are saying this company is selling stuff and not providing the product to people? Is that what you are implying? If you don't like the idea of the site then don't use it, that's the best piece of advice I can give you. I think it's a damn good business model. A business is in the business of making money, nothing else. They do it while providing people with a cheap alternative to buying product.

I don't understand where you get off saying it's a scam?? You buy a low end bid package and use those bids towards a high dollar item. Say you spend $50 on bids plus you win the item for $100. That's $150 instead of spending $500. Now the chance comes in not winning the item. Then you are out $50. Is this not the same as a casino? Do you rant about casinos being scams? No.

Scams are not just selling something to someone and not delevering the goods. The information on their web site is miss leading.

Also, if a company is in GOOD STANDINGS they will provide a verifyable address, phone number, etc ... Whatever someone does with the advice I give them is one them... When a company mis informs their customers of how their product actually works, its a scam in my eyes... and i'm not the only one that thinks like this. If it worked out for you, thats great... It hasnt worked out for many, many people... and that, to me... is a scam.

I can see where you are coming from, but it still is not a scam. They are not misleading in anyway. All the information is in plain sight easily viewable by anyone interested in using their website.
