Need TV / Monitor Advice
Hey,
I need some advising. Basically i'm looking at selling my Asus (It'll be in the B/S/T Forum soon) and getting a 26" HD TV to use a TV and monitor. At the moment i have my 22" Asus as a monitor and a 12" Box TV as my TV at the end of my bed. I've been meaning to upgrade my TV for awhile, so why not save money and get a TV/Monitor? It'll be wall mounted where my monitor is now (My room - Hardware has changed abit). Reasons for: Save money as it's a TV/Monitor Combo Save space on my desk (Desk isn't deep enough for both Monitor and Keyboard together, comfortably) 720p would mean i don't need £200+ Graphics Cards to max games. Films would be a better experience - 5.1 instead of box TV sound. Reasons against: Costs abit initially Won't be wall mounted for afew week untill my wall gets done (It wont always be bricks) Going from 1080p on 22" to 720p on 26"... Now, this is the TV i'm looking at. It comes with a discount for a cheaper Wall Mounting Kit, and it's damn cheap anyways. However, i'm massively open to more options. Just post them. Tell me what you think / Advise me! |

you may want to be careful about mounting the LCD to a brick wall. btw, i love your PC in a desk drawer.

true but it depends on how that brick was laid. if it is old then it may not have a solid back and the weight of the tv could literally pull the bricks out from the wall.
