i agree but you wont find a deal like this at a retail store. and you cant buy used PC games and you cant trade them in either. so you have to sell them based on the fact that the person buying them trusts you enough to not use the cd key/activation code.

Yeah cod:waw for £14 is a good deal. Its just alot of the games on steam are the same as a disc.

I wouldnt go as far as to say you carnt sell used pc games, ebay has thousands. But yeah not many games stores will buy or part exchange them these days.

Just another reason for gamers to leave pc & buy an xbox

why havnt pc game developers come up with a way that they can be safely sold/bought used by somehow generating a new key and erasing the old key.

yea but you can easily buy and sell used console games and they keep losing market share to consoles. it only makes sense seeing as used games are the bread and butter of companies like gamestop.

Good price for a great game. Played this for hours on end and the graphics are spot-on.

Just a shame that Me and STEAM really don't get on. I hate it!

If I plan on buying a game, I probably won't sell it. And the more stuff that Steam offers, the less I have to get other ways.

We were able to trade PC games a long time ago. However it stop once stores were finding viruses and all kinds of other stuff (blank CDs, fake CDs, cd-key didn't work, etc). Was it really that bad to warrant the removal of PC game trade/etc? IMO, no it wasn't but they stopped it anyway. I don't remember which store started this first but it spread like wildfire. If I recall correctly most stores had this policy in force within 20 days or so.

we used to call it the burn and return policy. i did it at gamestop a few times but the funny thing is i dont remember which games they were so they must not have been that good anyway. of course now a days almost all games have an online aspect to them so everything needs a cd key.

Might have to pick this up! There are alot of advantages to digital distribution, primarily the fact that you don't have to carry around DVDs or CDs for your games, and if say you lose your game or scratch the disc you can't get it back, if I format my computer or upgrade to a new computer I can easily install all my games again with steam.
