Antec Two Hundred Surfaces
Antec is ready with another "Hundred" series PC case, this time a new entry-level model that squats below the Three Hundred. The Antec Two Hundred is a standard ATX case, with the basic Hundred series design as far as placement of fans goes. The front air-intake grill sports a polygonal design. The 3.5-inch HDD/FDD external drive bay provides hot-swap capability. Including this, there are six 3.5-inch bays in all, below three 5.25-inch bays. The PSU bay is below the motherboard tray, which provides a gap for some basic cable-management. The motherboard tray further features a gap behind the CPU socket area, which allows users to manage CPU coolers with back-plates or bolt-through kits better. There is provision for five fans, that include the bundled 140 mm top fan, a 120 mm rear exhaust fan, along with two 120 mm intakes in the front, and one 120 mm side. The case will make it deeper into the value-mainstream, with an estimated price tag of US $59.

Not too crazy bout the front of the case, but for $59, can't go wrong.
Seems to be a good, cheap case

Why do they keep putting the PSU on the bottom. I don't get it. That just makes cable management harder..

And wastes a perfectly good fan that could be used for cooling.

Although that seems to be a common statement, if you are running at a computer to knock it over the psu location isn't going the change the fact...
Any tower is not going to be one of those accidentally bumped it and it fell over cases, if something happens to the point your computer will fall over, odds are the psu in the bottom isn't going to save it.

I think they should have had an Antec 302 (like the antec 902) just made the WM and the back panel holes and kept the 300 look. this case looks too cheap and cost about the same as the 300
EDIT: after looking again it looks like the 300 but with a new front and 2 extra holes...

That case looks so cheap, I'm kind of disappointed in Antec, I don't believe they are going to have a good year especially looking at the other case they are looking at putting out.

The antec 300 doesn't come with the two front fans and a side fan though, so a justifiable 5 dollar difference.
People who buy Antec 300's like mine are looking for a sturdy, cheap case. It's got plenty of room, but is relatively low profile, and is built like a rock.

I like it. A cheap case that will fit any monster video card unless you have the full compliment of hard drives.

Looking at this case - id still go for the Antec 300 Or cooler master Centurion 590, I prefer the Antec but after I built a rig for a friend with a CM Centurion 590 that case really isnt too bad if u can ignore 1 or 2 fairly big issues
![]() issues like why it comes with just 1 hard drive caddy/led fan at the front instead of 2 or 3 when in the pictures it clearly shows its using 3.

As for a "Two Hundred". Not interested. Once you go low enough number-wise, you should appeal to the mATX crowd. |

I see why people don't like this. It's like a batman/spiderman kind of look with really cheap materials.

They should've just added the new features (HSF opening, and hot swap capability) to the existing 300 and called it 300 II. That front is just ugly.

Again, they should have just shrunken the already fantastic 300.

If they're going to put the PSU on the bottom, they need to have an opening in the floor like the CM case so the PSU fan has air to suck in. I don't like to have my PSU fan facing up. I cut a hole in the bottom of my 900 to get past this.

Some cases do have a grill on the bottom of the case for the power supply's fan. However, you really need a dust filter for that location. With the PSU fan facing up, dust isn't such a problem.
