Ok....

That doesn't help much, how do I get the subscription number in the first place?

I'm starting to think the title should read "One day free subscription" instead.
Oh well, the only thing we can do is wait a day or two and see if it will let us begin again.
If not, oh well I guess...I got plenty for what I wanted.

Well even if so, how the heck do you get the benefit number, all I find it login, and the technet main page which allows me to "buy" a subscription for the normal $349...

Saying, if it still works the way it was supposed to.

If you're just getting to this thread, the deal is probably dead now..

It appears like they took down the key server/generation. Probably for good reason too.. I can't get to my keys, but my downloads are still going, so those work fine.

My question is for any past subscribers/someone with a paid sub. is it still working for you? I haven't seen any news from Microsoft about this. (You'd think the INQ would be all over this.)

I'm getting that same message.

F*ck it. I'll buy it if I want all this access. Not worth the hassle for me any longer.

Same here. Downloads are continuing, but downloads and keys on the download page are now grayed out. Downloads are continuing, and I grabbed a couple of keys this morning. That's all I need.

Yeah, looking on other sites it hasn't made any news yet that I could find, but I found this:

Quote:
I just got ahold of TechNet support. They say that this pilot program was supposed to be a limited random invitation sort of thing. If you received an email inviting you then it was valid. What the support rep said is that someone posted the link on their blog. So everyone who was not officially invited to the pilot program has gotten their orders revoked.
So, anyone with a renewed sub from this able to chime in status?

Regardless this was a really cool promo, and I'll probably end up buying this anyways. $249 for M$'s whole library? hells yeah.

EDIT: For the software, my XP Pro SP3 x86 key just activated.

I can still get to the dl page but is still grayed out with the "alert" in the upper right hand corner. It's not telling me that I'm not authorized or w/e. Is there still hope?

No. All your options are grayed so you can't do anything now. But if you really want to make sure, check and see if you have access to
the CD Key page.

Meh, no big deal I guess, would have been cool but oh well.

As I said tax write off, so I wont complain "too" much.

To anyone here that does side jobs in IT, you can also claim them as a tax write off, or maybe you are in school, tax write off, I have had subscriptions in the past, they are nice, just click dload the iso's and get your keys, I literally use it just to get discs for installs even.
