Gts 250 Psu

So i bought a GTS 250 for a friend installed it and everything seems to be fine...
And the guys that sold it to me told me that a 400w PSU wont be enough for it. And they said that the PSU will burn it self at the max load.
But i installed it with the old i guess noname 400w psu. And i started to test it with the games he had Perfect World, LineAge 2 Gracia, Half Life 2 ep 2, XIII Century - Death or Glory, and other games (at max settings). Everything seems to work fine and with no issues...

Will it make any sense buying a new PSU a better one or keep this one?

After testing touch PSU and see how hot it is. If it is not too hot than he is fine.

I run 3 GTS250s on this PSU doing FAH 24/7.

The 250 is 150 watts max[IIRC] but I don't think it uses that much.
