For the low price of $41.99! You can put a jet engine in your case!

252.85 CFM, 5500 RPM, 66.5 dBA, $41.99

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835706015

I was contemplating getting one just to mess around with.

I wonder how loud 66.5dBA is?

Edit: This thing takes 48 watts!

Time lower the v-core a touch. Although I could try to wire it into the air intake in my car... right after the filter... should increase HP in a ghetto-supercharger type fashion.

I've dealt with a hair dryer before--it isn't worth it. Invest in a better case.

66 dBa is akin to a hair dryer or vacuum cleaner running all the time. Moreover, high power fans (1+ amp) need to be plugged into the power supply mains and not the motherboard.

5500 RPM for a 120mm is extremely high.

The design is very similar to the Vantec Tornado (I have 80x80x35mm varients of it).

Get 12 in a case and manage it well, but make sure that your case doesn't start moving... put some 100kg weights on it and you should be fine... Sound canceling headphones, soundproof room = perfect

btw this won't work because it would rip off the RAM, HSF, and anything else it can rip off

You could also just replace the side panel with a box fan, for the same, but quieter, effect.

+2 you forgot the part were it would annoy the crap of you and if you think high end v card fans annoy you this will make you go crazy..

I like there older one with 2x120mm fans. Which i think they have stopped making now.

As for buying a new case as one will cost you like $60+ so may as well buy a dremel and mod the case you have already ..

now i imagine something insane. all the fills of 12mm on a haf 932 with 2 psu, one for the fans and another for the system, then run it on a isolated room and, then, perfection.

That's a fox body right?

Either way, this fan would be stupid loud, too much for probably anyone I know. I had one of those 80mm Vantec Tornado fans...It's still around somewhere that thing moved some serious air.

they are called Delta fans they are nicknamed "levitators" because if they are not secured they will slide across a surface you can hear how loud they are on Youtube.
