[FT][US] ATi 4870 1gb (modded bios and cooler)

This is a HIS version. 1gb. Includes all the adapters shown in the photo. The bios were modded for a higher voltage and overclocking unlocked in catalyst. The cooler was replaced with a Zalman Vf900-CU. Note that this cooler requires a 3/4pin fan connector. Will ship to US. $120 shipped using Priority mail (2-3days)

Nice card for a good price. I have the same Zalman setup on a 4830, one of the best gfx coolers ever IMHO!! bumpage...

They get pretty hot but Ive been using it for nearly a year at 800/1000 overclocked with upped voltages and never had any problems as far as I can tell. If anyone decides they want to they could always flash the old bios back in a breeze anyway.

How does the VF900 work with the 4870? I have a couple of spare VF900's around (I re-use them on just about every card I get). I have a Sapphire 4870 with stock fan that is noisier than I would like. Just curious how the VF900 compares to stock?

It depends on what speed the fan is running. I always keep mine at 100% because it isnt very loud anyway. Overclocked the core idled around 45C
