I'm not saying that it's better or worse than the similar offering from the competition. I just say it was labeled high end, when there is 4800 mobile series.

i was coming to say the same thing...

unless its a direct clone of the desktop card (which is rare, its always downclocked or less shaders) its not that special. Sure it may be #1 in the netbook market - but calling it "high end" is a blatant lie.

Well, now -- ATI's mobile variants are usually much closer to their desktop counterparts than Nvidia's. It's not even close -- ATI doesn't even cut the shaders, anymore.

And "high-end" is very relative with laptops.

ATI have 48x0 cards in laptops... no way is this high end compared to those.

(i agree on ATI cutting far less than Nv, but they often at least lower clocks and ram speed)

Thats because, the keyboard is ANOTHER SCREEN! Only with Multitouch. And it can be used to SLICE AND TOAST BREAD! (Or am I thinking of the Macbook Air on that last part?)

Other than the apparent lack of keyboard and the underpowered graphics, it looks like a pretty good laptop for high mobility!

The 9400M is significantly faster, and even that is slow. Perhaps you were thinking of a 4830 or something.
