im bored of all my first person shooters i need a new one. Something with the action and guns and vehicles of crysis but with the horror and jumps of dead space or cryostasis, it needs be to single player and nothing online, preferably quite new with stunning visuals and a long storyline.

Horror FPS's are hard enough to come by, much less one with vehicles. Farcry 1 maybe. Half Life 2 is decent in the horror department, especially in Ravenholm. Clive Barker's Jericho is a good FPS horror, I have it for sale in here: http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=96893.

There's really no new, good FPS games. They're all third person action games (e.g. Prototype and Overlord II).

I must wholeheartedly agree, it may not have the "jumps" or "scares" of something like Dead Space, but by God it's one of the best games I've played all year.

errm got jericho, fallout3, got farcry1 but there doesnt seem to be much horror factor so i went off it, what about half life two? seen screenies but it looks for like timeshift if anyones played it, a great first person shooter but not much horror, doom 3 hats quite old isnt it? but then again i still keep comeing back to quake 4
