German Memorysolution today introduces its first 2.5-inch solid-state drives, branded MAXFLASH. Weighting just over 80 grams, the MAXFLASH Rapstore SSDs come in 128 and 256 GB flavours and have a 3 year warranty. Full specs of both drives are listed below:

maxflash has some dirty connotations, but it looks like a nice drive. indilinx + samsung makes it one of the top drives these days. 3 year warranty is nice. I wonder what the price and availability will be like.

i just started having ideas of an ITX PC built into a backpack running modded laptop batteries...

whats that, you just got an 80GB ipod? i got an 8TB iBackpack :P
