HANNSG HH251HP 25-inch LCD Display Announced
Top 5 monitor manufacturer, HANNSG, has today unveiled a new line of cutting edge monitors. The new HH series of widescreen TFT LCD monitors, which will include a comprehensive selection of display sizes from 18.5" up to 28", perfectly demonstrates HANNSGs development and manufacturing capabilities, combining style, performance and functionality. The first monitor to launch from the new HH range of HANNSG monitors is the new HH251HP. The HH251HP features a number of HANNSG's exclusive cutting edge technologies, developed to ensure sharper pictures without residual images, for the ultimate HD viewing experience, as well as, a unique 25" display.
![]() The HH251HP's one-of-a-kind 25" display accommodates a full HD 1920x1080 WUXGA resolution and multiple aspect ratio support which ensures image distortion does not occur (a simple press of a hotkey can transform an image which appears stretched in the standard 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio 'Full Mode' into the perfect 4:3 'Fit Mode'). The HH251HP also features HANNSG's exclusive X-Contrast technology with 15000:1 ultra-high dynamic contrast, which significantly improves three dimensional effects by providing darker black colour and lighter white colour control, and includes HANNSG's exclusive X-Celerate technology, which provides a blazingly fast response time to dramatically improve fluidity of dynamic images, ultimately eliminating motion blur. All of the HH251HP’s intuitive display options are easily accessible via an extremely user friendly, redesigned on-board interface. Adding a touch of class to any space, the new HANNSG monitor boasts striking, state of the art looks with a high gloss, black mirror finish and curved, slim frame. It includes 2 x HDMI 1.3 inputs with HDCP support to support today’s and tomorrow's high tech external devices and includes VESA wall mounting capability for optimum space utilisation. The new HH251HP is available now from www.misco.co.uk and is supplied as standard with a 3 year on-site swap out manufacturers’ warranty. RRP Euro 183.99 inc. VAT. Main Features: Display Size: 24.6" Widescreen Brightness: 300cd/m2 Contrast (typ.): 800:1 X-Contrast (dyn.): 15000:1 Resolution: 1920 x 1080 WUXGA Response Time: 5ms (typ)/2ms (GtG) Display Colours: 16.7M Display Surface: Anti Glare Viewing Angles: H/V 170º/160º Inputs: VGA, Audio, 2 x HDMI (HDCP) Speakers: 2x 1.5W Dimensions (mm): 582 (w) x 179 (d) x 422 (h) Tilt: 0º~20º VESA Mounting: VESA Standard 200 x 100 mm Source: HANNSG |

HANNSG makes some decent, affordable products...
I like the 25" size. Now add 120Hz, DisplayPort and LED (even if it's just edge) back-lighting and I'll bite. |

How come they always "miss" the panel type when presenting monitors??? Isn't there a law or something protecting innocent, unknowing civilians from buying TN panels and discovering only at home what they have spent their money on? From personal experience, no person that worked with CRT and makes the shift to LCD will expect the (same) color changing from center to corners and the viewing angles that are so bothersome - they think it's an upgrade to the CRT monitor. How come they all list the full 16.7 mil colors but they're all 16.2 Hi-FRC (as far as I know) in TN panels - and this will show up in gradients very good.
They should be forced somehow to (at least) specify the panel type together with the other specs |

color reproduction is FAR FAR better now then it use to be, I have an IPS panel here, and was compairing it with a friends 2 week old TN panel, and honestly the diffrance was so small in color reproduction that its not even worth talking about, viewing angles min kicks the TN's ass, but i could live with the slite shift and having to turn my monitor a bit to show others the screen at the kinda prices large high quility TN panils go for now. OH and TN panils can be 6bit or 8bit or even higher, (per pixel) so they can be true 16.7 million colors or use software to dither, I have seen 6 bit panels that looked better then 8bit ones, Dont judge a monitor by the panil type except under very explicit circumstances such as needing a monitor for high end gfx work, then, well most likely your gonna have the green to get a larger IPS panil(i have yet to see them over 22" tho) OR just go for it and get urself a hdtv/plasma screen

Hopefully he isn't from England. That would make it all the worse.
Edit : ^ doesn't make sense. This looks like a very nice monitor. I'd like to see it on my desk!

I got two 19" for back home and those speakers whisper. But, they are crisp and bright. I've had no problems with them. I vote great budget monitor.

I want to see regular sizes with higher res. Idc about all this extra junk. I just want more res on a 22-26" monitor because 30 is just to ridiculous for me right now.

25" at 1920 x 1080 is just nice. I hate looking at monitor with high resolution, strain my eye looking at the small icon and fonts.
TN panel? too bad, VA would be good enough. IPS is too expensive.

FWIW, the display-scaling in Windows 7 is quite good, much better than it was in XP. I say bring on the resolution!

Thats what lowering the desktop resolution is for. I want higher res for games. 2560x1600 on a 24" with games would be awesome quality.

CPU-Z and GPU-Z dont entirely shrink on mine O.o its trippy.
![]() ![]() ![]() comparison shots, the last two. sure its an older version in the second one, but w1zz didnt make it suddenly twice as wide... On 125% the text fits in fine, but on 100% the app itself doesnt shrink, just the text.
