The new hasn't wore off for you yet. 2-3 years seems to be when the forum finally pisses people off and they leave. Half of the guys that joined up the same year that I did are gone, most due to issues with staff or perma ban combined with getting a life.

some people just have an attitude that "this is the internet, i can do what i want, when i want, and you cant stop me" - and boy do they rage when they find out we CAN stop them.
The arrogant types always respond really nastily when something is done against them and they realise theres nothing that can be done to stop 'the man'. They're the kind who'd resort to violence if this was the real world, but since they cant they come back with new user names under a new IP adress and try and cause trouble... not realising that we dont care. user causes trouble, user goes away.

wow this thread is so beyond topic it kinda confuses me. I mean in the OP it was clearely stated no drama. but people keep causing drama idf get it. i mean im targeting you JC but their are alot of included people. I mean lets face facts you asked legitimate questions maybe a post or 2 that had nothing to do with subject and seemed like some kind of outlash but its been stated by w1zz dan and some of the mods problem? report it. why? because all mods act diff. this SERIOUSLY doesnt need to be discussed anymore am I the only one that see's it? this thread isnt even about site problems rule sets and behavior anymore.
Its turning into some preteen argument with multiple subject matters and is totally killing the usefullness of this thread. These past idk....120 pages have been utter nonsense that helps absolutely NOTHING its now a bunch of petty squabbling and hersay. imo? let me be blunt im fresh outta work and cant think straight whats the word for what this is? total BS! people. We are all here to learn share and help. this is not kindergarten we are all adults or atleast have above our years in common sense and decency. Some are more evolved than others but the fundemental problem i am seeing over and over again isnt in the forums it isnt in any particular member it is all in this thread and its almost everyone. can anyone else see that almost everytime something is posted here it gets relatively off topic and out of control with pages of useless dialogue that dont actually help anything? I mean what i notice is that everytime their seems to be a p[roblem in this thread the "victems" and the "others" seem to loose the point and themselves in a "i want to be right" fight i think we ALL could use a little air get over ourselves a little and THEN come back and try again this time with resaults? idk maybe its just me maybe im trying to hard to correct whats wrong because after all this is just the internet. -Solaris

When a post is "deleted," it doesn't go away in vbulletin; it just becomes invisible to non-mods unless it's hard-deleted which most sites don't do.
Well the owner is in Germany and the Germans make great stuff! You with me camera guy?

Maybe it's because once you've been here for 3 years you know everything that there is to know about what you're interested in, but the board never changes. It's like watching reruns of an old tv show, the same nooby questions (no offense, we were all there once) over and over again that people get sick and tired of answering, the same threads with a different title, etc...

Guys (and Gals),
When I write a thread for Programming and Webmastering that involves a lot of coding information I always do it in an Open Office document. This allows me to check spelling, get my formatting correct for forum code and also prevents the possibility of me doing something dumb like hitting a key that throws me out of the editting window and having to start over. I then copy and paste the everything into a thread I am creating and only have to do final editting there. Why not make yourselves a FS/FT template document that you can use repeatedly, where all you have to do it add the item names, descriptions and pictures? You can then just edit in you info when you make the thread and not have to completely redo the title, selling rules and information, etc. every time you make a thread. It would also allow you to have a theme you like for your threads, and people would get used to seeing your threads the way you want them, every time. Just a suggestion.
