I think he meant something that looks like this: ![]() not this: ![]() Because even I find such a small boxy list of programs annoying, and I'd like a program list that spans across the length of the screen. Is it? Because I can't see a Classic Classic start menu in build 7100. |

Ah I see. I thought it was just classic theme.
![]() I like the start menu personally but ill have a dig see if it can be made more like the "old" style.

Link to CSmenu installer. http://windows7forums.com/attachment..._installer.zip
run installer > run CSmenu_first-run (on the desktop) > reboot/log off and on > pin "show CSmenu" to the taskbar. The only problem with CSmenu is that it doesn't correctly list out "Documents". To me that's excusable. Last edited by btarunr; Jul 15, 2009 at 08:24 PM. |

ive tried the beta's and it run beautifully, it felt like i got better performance out of it then xp or vista, but did no actual test to see if im right. I would switch if i haddn't just bought vista like a couple of month ago but for me the only think that would hook me upto 7 is dx11 and seeing as its available for vista ill stick with this, i get great performance out of it and have had no problems wat so ever, other then playing bioshock

Using 7100 now and used 7077 before that, it works great, haven't had any serious bugs. Looks nice, runs great (except on 1GB, runs like shit lol), much better than Vista.

XP is fine for me right now.
I will wait till at least Service pack 2 for Windows 7 so the drivers are more stable and more games are compatible/stable.

Anyone tell me where the safest pre releases are to DL. I might try it on one of my other machines. Also where are the prices on this for a retail copy. Is it that much of a savings for pre ordering?

I messed with the RC's and beta's, but I really don't feel the need to upgrade right now. So I'll stick with XP x64 and Server 2008

Yeah, but it's a threesome with Windows. That's like a threesome with the fat, drunk girl at the party -- you know, the one with all the viruses.

Can't wait, its so cheap to pre-order that even my mums going to have a copy, LOL. Was going to get it from Amazon but by the time I got round to ordering they'd sold out! Have ordered from Currys.co.uk, £44.99. Only getting Home Premium cos I can't see me ever needing the extras in Professional.
EDIT: Just checked Amazon.co.uk and they are showing stock again, but the shady f**kers have put the price up £30 to £75!!!
