Do these benchmark results look right to you?

I'm doing a complete rebench of all my cards right now. Here are the results I got so far. Please take a look and check if you can spot anything that looks odd so i can retest

0.0 score in riddick & quake wars means that the game crashed at that resolution
0.0 score in stalker clear sky means that the game wouldnt let me select that resolution in the settings

What DX mode are you using for Hawx?
Are you using 4870 512Meg or the 4870 1Gig version?
Could you replace one of your benchmarks like UT3, WiC, (whatever one you want) for Call of duty: World at War (as its more taxing then COD4).

dx10 for hawx i think, not 10.1

4870 512 mb gddr5, the reference design

cod: waw is exactly the same engine as cod4, nothing to be gained

First off, thanks for the necessary update. The data alone is excellent!

Second off, what drivers were used? Would that be worth noting?

Only thing I notice is that the GTX 275 beats the GTX 285 sometimes when it shouldnt.

Are you running all these cards at reference clocks?

I noticed your 4870 is scoring 3000 3DMarks better than my factory OC 4870 on the 3DMark06 default settings.

My test 15144 3DMarks

Can you include a 4870 1GB card instead of the 512mb version?

It seems most (smart) people have the 1GB version so having the 512mb one listed instead makes little sense..other than that, its good to have newer games in there and it will no doubt help more people decide what they should get to keep playing the newer titles.

Would be nice to see a 3870 in the results. Plenty of people still use them.

Is it just me or did you miss the GTS 250? It would be different if you had a 9800GTX+ in the mix too but some people use it...me.

in Battleforge look at the scaling between the 4870 and 4870x2, that looks too good to be true. Or maybe it's normal? I have no experience with it.

are the company of heroes numbers min, max or average? The in game benchmark gives all three, and IMO minimum is all that matters.

Ahhh I would think so. I looked at your system specs because I didn't see the system listed these tests were run on . Big difference between Processor: Intel Core Duo E6600 @ 3.4 GHz and the i7 @ 3.9 ghz.

imo not worth it for a current gen comparison, but in most cases the 4670 is just about the same performance as the 3870.

Good info there. Few questions...

What did you use to test the fps in the games? I'm thinking FRAPS, but I honestly don't pay attention to programs that let you test fps in games and FRAPS is the only one that comes to mind.

What drivers did you use for your tests?

What are your system specs that you used in these tests? I only ask because you mention an i7 @ 3.9; whereas your system specs listed state you have an E6600 @ 3.4

You can answer these are your leisure, I'm just curious is all.

in-game benchmark function automated with tpubench, no fraps. ever, cat 9.6 and forceware 186.16

system specs is my "work" system. i have other systems for specific purposes like the vga bench system which ran these results, which is using the i7 @ 3.9, 6 gb mushkin @ 760-8-7-7-16, ex58-extreme and an lg 30" display (its only connected to that system )
