[WTT]- 45nm 775 Quad CPU
I am looking for a Q8400+ 45nm Quad in exchange for my newly acquired Q6600 G0. For an 8 series I can do up ~$30 cash on top for a 9 PM me what you would want. For budget reasons, a trade of the 6600 combined with items from my FS thread (link in sig) and some cash will work best.
I wanted to go quad to crunch more for TPU's WCG Team and now I am just looking to save electricity costs. Maybe this is a good CPU for someone who got a Q8 but needs VT. This will crunch 24/7 for the WCG team here in the same computer what runs the 9600GSO that does 24/7 Folding for TPU's team as well. Here is my HEAT Feedback In the excitement of installing my first quad I forgot to take a pic of it, hopefully this one still counts - ![]() Thanks!

Mods said that would satisfy the pic requirement. I really appreciate that since removing the board to get that sink of would be a major pain

If you want it I have an OEM X3220 (Q9300 equivalent) that I'm about to retire from crunching and just slap my E5200 on it so me and oldest son can game on it. PM me for details. See my back-up rig on my specs for details.

I have a local offer for a Q6600 for my E5200+WD 500GB. That's an offer I should jump on, power consumption aside, no?

I would say the xeon might be more power efficient but I might be wrong.

So I took the local offer on the Q6600 G0. Running it through some tests now. Anyone want to trade a Q6600 for a 45nm quad now

Am I in it for the long haul with this Q6600? A quad is a quad is a quad I suppose. Few more bumps and I will see about ending the search.
