cant log on win 7 after reformatting xp

i have a dual boot with windows xp and windows 7, but after reformatting XP, windows 7 no longer shows up when i start my pc. i know its still there cuz on my computer it still says windows 7 under hard disk drives.

install EasyBCD and reinstall the bootloader. the XP one has replaced your windows 7 bootloader

go to the bootloader section i think and click reinstall vista bootloader (same thing as windows 7)

you should also see your old menu entries when you launch the program.

just stick in the win7 DVD, click on repair startup.... If that doesn't work, go into command prompt and type:

bootrec /FixBoot

ok i used my windows 7 cd and now my pc starts and loads windows 7, but it doesnt give me the option to load windows xp. and on the advanced startup options it doesnt show windows xp, only windows 7

i know i didnt say i reinstalled xp on my earlier post, as you can see, if you can read, i said it was obvious i did, unless you can find a way to install easybcd without an os

repairing the bootloader would remove the windows xp which would have been there. now use the program i told you about and add a windows xp entry to the menu

Uhh yeah, dude, I can read and if you don't know, you can boot to a disk like Ultimate boot CD (http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/)and customize it so you can fix those troubles...without the OS
