Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 E0 SOLD
DFI LANPARTY Junior P45-T2RS mATX SOLD
2x2GB kit of G.Skill Pi Blacks DDR2-800 4-4-4-12 SOLD

2x1GB PNY XLR8 DDR2-1173 5-5-5-15 (2 Kits) $35/kit 1 Kit Available

Quote:
Next up, I’ve got two 2x1GB kits of PNY XLR8 rated at 1173 MHz with 5-5-5-12 timings at 2.2V. Here’s the Newegg Link. Model number is D22GX93XLP-5. These sticks are extremely hard to find now. PC Stats tried out the sticks and achieved some awesome overclocks. Their kit hit 1160 MHz @ 4-4-4-12 and 1320 MHz @ 5-5-5-15 using 2.2V! You can read the review here. Bought both kits brand new and haven’t had a chance to run them at their rated speeds yet. I plan on doing so before I ship them out. Recommended for anybody wanting some great benchmarking RAM or somebody who’s gonna be grabbing one of those new E6500K’s with an unlocked multi to run some awesome benchmarks.

Will be shipped via USPS First Class with Delivery Confirmation in their original packaging and a padded envelope. I can ship in a box using USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation for a slightly higher price.
Want To Trade For - Coming Soon, PM me offers for now.

Insurance available at the buyer’s expense. All items are tested before shipping, and items not covered by insurance will not be refunded. Any overclocking results that I have achieved are not guaranteed.

Thanks for looking

PS: Turtle is NOT for sale.

I'd go for that motherboard if it had a full 16x slot.

Remember that it's PCI-Express 2.0, so its bandwidth is equal to that of a PCI-Express 1.1 x16 slot.

Yes, but today's cards need all they can get. And the ability to choose between between 16x/0x and 8x/8x is a plus.

I'm disappointed they didn't have it switch. I don't think I agree with you on today's cards needing all they can get, though. I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think most single GPU cards out right now aren't bottlenecked by PCI-E 2.0 8x slots.

I'm a little confused by your statement. With a single card in the main PCI-E slot will operate at the full 16x speed, it is only when the 2nd PCI-E slot is in use will the first drop down to 8x.

Not with this board, unfortunately. They both run at 8x no matter what slots are populated. One of the few downfalls of this board. They didn't bother including a switch, so they wired both 8x 2.0 electronically.

Think about it this way. If a GTX 295 is running in a single x16 2.0 slot, then ultimately, each GPU (aka a GTX 275) gets 8x 2.0. Same with a 4870x2. This board shouldn't bottleneck any single GPU cards.

Hey, the socket 775 "SLI" board runs x16 and x2, no matter what. They explicitly state on a sticker covering the second slot that it is NOT for SLI, and only for a second card allowing for more monitors.
