GTZ Apogee fit AM2+?

I have been looking at maybe getting one of these, but from what I have read, they are for Intel only. Is that the case, or will they fit my AM2+?

Which is the better? The Acetal or the plexi? What temp difference could I expect to see between that and the original Apogee?
