Cutscenes in the middle of bossfights, if they are that frequent, look to be a little irritating.

Bethesda make one or two games a year. They are always good games though but i don't think they are even working on ES5 yet. Yep, only three at the moment; Brink, Wet and lastly Rouge Warrior.

The Witcher 1 is a VERY good game but make sure you get the Enhanced Edition. It does come with a few other extras but mainly the voices and a huge load of patches included so you don't have to go looking for them or install them.

I hope they took a lot of tips from the good ol NWN1 game engine and not go the way NWN2 did. Tell you the truth it could look the same as The Witcher 1 and i'd be happy just want more story which again hope they do not screw up.

EDIT:

Did that boses life bar go back up lol.

I was always interested in The Witcher. Heard it had a great story along with some great gameplay. But have lately been caught back into the console games loop and have been for about a year now

the only thing that makes witcher unplayable id their combat system. this is my personal opinion only, but i found that i'm not the only one that shares it. clicking on enemy isn't what i want, i want oblivion/Blade of Darkness type of combat. it just feels more immersive
other than that, i would have loved the game

i always found the obilivion style of combat to be too much hack and slash..u click the mouse it swings your sword and that was it...there was no feeling of art or skill
even in morrowwind u could choose between a chop attack, slash attack, or stab attack ya know?

i think clicking to choose your target is a good way to incorporate skill and cool combos that everyone looks for while having that immersive feeling

just my 2 cents

SWEET!!!! The Witcher was the best game I have played since Diablo 2. I hadn't heard any news of a second so this is awesome!
I just downloaded the 1.5 and directors cut patches and have been playing the new extra add on levels.
I also really like the witcher combat controls. Took me a few times to get used to, but now it is great.

Right on, I'm glad to see they're making another game. I haven't finished the first one yet, but I really enjoy the gameplay. I guess I should get back to playing it so I'll be ready for this one.
